And here we are. It's Monday. Happy Day, everyone!

How was your weekend? What did you do that brought a smile to your face? Myself and Mia took a morning yoga class. It was something I needed that I wasn't aware of until it happened. And now I need to find a way to build it into my regular schedule.

When you consider how quickly each day passes and how many activities you cram into 24 hours, do you also consider how many of those things add to the quality of your life? Do you consider your God given gifts? Are you honoring at least one?

As humans, we have a tendency to fight against putting our natural gifts into play. Maybe that fear stems from disbelief of the work we're born to do, or feeling small, maybe even distracted from other people's ideas about what we should be doing.

No one could've told me 7 years ago that I would be an International pole dance instructor and 3x national champion, who would go on to own her own business in fitness. Besides shopping on foot, I had never exercised a day in my life. But I knew 13 years in the television industry, as much as I enjoyed it, wasn't my calling. A leap of faith led me to my calling, which is positively affecting and empowering lives through movement.

Check out the signs. Feeling as if a 10 pound weight is on your back on a daily basis, being unable to either get or keep a job, or like me, anxiety about being on the wrong path. I asked for clarity. The answer I received was in the form of a major layoff. My entire department, to be exact.

As I sat in an office with suits going over my severance, I smiled and thanked the Universe. I'm sure it looked odd, as this is the kind of moment most would be freaking out, and rightfully so. But again, I knew this wasn't for me. I thanked my employers for having me, placed my Michael Kors glasses on my face and drove off in my BMW with the sunroof open. Poof!

1. Tap into your faith and ask for guidance

2. Remain open to communication (internal yearnings, dreams)

3. Journal and notice what keeps coming up for you

As you begin to open your heart and mind to what was divinely meant for you, your life will have a major shift. That internal voice is your protector and answer to questions you needn't look outward for. You always know what to do.

Allow that voice to come forth and anxiety to fade into the background. Open the door to all the beautiful opportunities that flow into your life and embrace what you are truly here to do.
