I'm not even going to lie, making a smoothie in the winter when you just want something warm sucks.


It did until I made this bomb smoothie yesterday. It was so creamy and warm with spices, it got my insides super excited.

Since it's the giving season, we're gifting you this wonderful smoothie packed with nutrients to keep you on track over the winter break.

Holiday Chai Smoothie
4 Large Handfuls Leafy Greens of choice
1 Frozen Bananas
1 Pear
1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
1/2 Cup Oats
1/3 Cup Cashews
2 TBS Hemp Seeds
2TBS Flaxseeds
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp of All Spice
1/4 tsp Dried Ginger
Half Water
Half Almond Milk to consistency you like

Blend on high!


Warning - This is meant to fill up a blender of 64-72oz capacity and will yield somewhere between 900-1000 calories. If the capacity is too much for you, you can cut everything in half. If the caloric density is too high, then cut back on the nuts and seeds. My recommendation: split it in two, be mindful of what you eat for the rest of the day, and put it on a leg day when youโ€™re going to need a little extra fuel. Ultimately, just listen to your body. ๐Ÿ˜‰
